About Me

I was born in California but moved to Idaho when I was two years old. Since then, I have made Idaho my home. I met my husband during my final semester of undergraduate school and we celebrated our 20 year anniversary in December of last year. We have a beautiful daughter, a cat who rules the nest and a dog who needs constant reassurance.

As a child, I always displayed high levels of empathy and consistently found myself cheering for the underdog so it seemed like social work would be a perfect career choice. It wasn’t until later in life, however, that changes to my original life plan led me to psychotherapy. I took a class during graduate school and fell in love with the field. I found my niche and felt like I was in perfect flow throughout each session every day. I received my Master’s degree in Social Work as well as Clinical Social Work and have been practicing for the past 20 years. I have my own practice and provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, adolescents and children.
